Middle School Students’ Views on Common Heritage

In this study 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade middle school students’ views on common heritage was examined. This conducted in descriptive survey design. As generalization not aimed one of the purposive sampling methods, convenient used. Within scope, there are 127 5th grades, 59 6th grades 85 total 330 students group. Data collected written by a data collection tool that consisted open ended questions about their opinions information with pictures heritage. Descriptive statistics what is used for analysis. Besides, simple frequency percentage calculations to digitalize qualitative findings. According results obtained study, descriptions literal show similarity. Students described importance protection as cultural, historical universal values, hand down next generations, contribution tourism development social relations. The heritage’s humanity tourism, economy, relations, knowledge acquisition cultural. stated factors cause extend human, reckless behaviours people, environmental pollution, wars, urban architecture planning.
